Habitats In Nature Mural

I was commissioned to do a mural for the State of Delaware, Department of Natural Resources for their State Fair exhibit. The room was approximately 40' X 20'. The walls were constructed of cinderblocks. I used exterior latex paint. The project took about ten days to finish, working an average of eight hours per day.

The theme I was given was "Habitat Is Where It's At". I thoroughly enjoyed painting the panoramic scenery, because I lived on a wildlife refuge, and that environment was part of my every day experience.

The artwork set the backdrop for the wildlife that was introduced into the exhibit to educate the public on respecting the wildlife in our community.
